Daily Walking Tour (external only):

  • The religious center with the Baptistery and its famous Paradise Gate, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Brunelleschi’s Dome;
  • The political center with the elegant Palazzo Vecchio, the Town Hall, headquarter of the ancient and actual Florentine government and Piazza della Signoria where stands a replica of Michelangelo’s David;
  • The Uffizi Palace, genial urban and architectonic solution designed by Giorgio Vasari, that houses the famous Gallery;
  • Ponte Vecchio, the Old Bridge, the most ancient bridge of Florence, famous for its goldsmith shops;
  • The Mercato Nuovo, known to Florentines as “Il Porcellino” (the piglet) with its statue of a wild boar, the most “touched”Florentine mascot;
  • Orsanmichele, perhaps the most Florentine building, church of the guilds and granary at the same time;
  • Piazza della Repubblica, that marks the site of the forum, the center of the ancient Roman city;
  • Palazzo Strozzi, emblem of the Renaissance architecture.
